Admissions
SFI offers admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fashion design and related fields. For B.Des programs, candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. Admission is based on the Common Entrance Test (CET), which includes a Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT), Situation Test, and Personal Interview. For M.Des programs, applicants need a relevant bachelor's degree. Scholarship
SFI provides several scholarships to support students:
- Merit Scholarship: 10% fee concession for candidates scoring 85% and above in qualifying exams.
- Sister Concession: 10% fee concession if two real sisters are studying; applicable to one.
- Satyam Staff: 10% fee concession for daughters or real sisters of SFI staff.
- Defense Personnel Ward: 10% fee concession for wards of defense, paramilitary, navy, or police personnel.
- Government Hospital Staff Ward: 10% fee concession for wards of doctors or paramedical staff in government hospitals.
These scholarships are typically applicable only for the first year.
