Overview
National Law University, Odisha, also known as NLUO, is one of the newly established University among 23 NLUs. The University was established in 2009 in Cuttack, Odisha. It is a state-level university that is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is accredited with an “A” Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The University offers UG, PG and doctorate programmes in the field of Law. The courses offered by the University are BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), LLM, PhD and MPhil. All the courses offered by the University are recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Admissions
NLUO offers integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. programs. Admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate programs are based on the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores. For the five-year integrated programs, candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates). For LL.M. admissions, an LL.B. degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) is required.
