Overview
Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology is a public engineering college in Chandigarh, Punjab, affiliated with Panjab University. CCET, formerly known as Central Polytechnic Chandigarh, was established in 1959.Founded as the Central Polytechnic Chandigarh in 1959,Punjab Governor J.F.R. CEC has also been ranked 6th by India Today's Survey 2021 among private colleges and universities in Punjab. The India Today's Survey 2021 also placed CEC on the 80th rank across the country, among all engineering colleges. Under CCET Admission 2024, the college offers numerous programs in various disciplines and its specializations such as B.Tech Course in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering with an annual intake of 60 individuals to each specialization under many academic departments such as follows.

Admissions
Admission to CCET's B.E. programs is based on JEE Main scores. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Scholarship

- Government Necessitous Scholarships: Four scholarships of ₹150 per month are awarded annually to students based on their semester performance.
- Chandigarh Union Territory Merit-cum-Means Scholarships: Offered to students demonstrating academic merit and financial need.
- Scholarships for SC/OBC Students: Financial assistance for Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes students for CAT/GRE/GMAT training.
